My name is Tyler Slevin.  I have been practicing as therapist in private practice for nearly two years.  I graduated with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Bradley University.  I am currently a post-masters clinician working towards obtaining my LPC.  In my clinical work my clients have ranged from various backgrounds and I primarily work with adolescents and adults.  My theoretical orientation blends a client centered approach with Adlerian concepts to create a holistic collaborative relationship with my clients.  Trust, safety, and collaboration are my priority and I aim to assist my client in identifying active steps to practice emotional regulation while simultaneously working towards goals that help bring a sense of inner peace.  Currently, I specialize in Sports Psychology/Performance, Anxiety, ADHD, Depression, Relationship Issues, Life Adjustments, and Career counseling.

In my personal life, I am an extremely active person and constantly looking for unique and different ways to practice holistic health.  I am a passionate hockey player/fan and have been an athlete throughout my entire life.  In my spare time, if you can’t find me at the rink I am always out and about exploring and traveling to new places.
